“We would have deserved a draw,” Pecchia insisted. “It went the way it did and we need to look forward.
“Until the end every match is very delicately poised, earning points is our aim.
“Bologna started well, we deserved a draw. I don’t consider the goal they scored to make it 2-0 at the end, my boys showed a great reaction.
“When we go behind we usually concede a lot more but today we held our own well.
“We created different chances to equalise but we didn’t manage to do it.”
Verona are back in action in midweek, when they host Sassuolo in a relegation six-pointer.
