Giampaolo Pazzini got his first goal for Hellas Verona, but it was during a 2-1 friendly defeat to Serie B side Trapani.

The former Milan striker earned and converted a penalty just three minutes into the game.

Hellas dominated the first half-hour, but struggled to make it count and fell away as time wore on.

Trapani first equalised through Montalto, then hit the crossbar and secured victory through Coronado.

Luca Toni did not take part, as he is training separately to reach peak fitness.
