Giampaolo Pazzini celebrated his 100th Serie A goal and insisted he could still stay at Milan.

“It’s a fantastic night and I cared a lot about this 100th goal, especially to get it in a stadium like this,” the striker told Sky Sport Italia.

He converted a penalty in the 3-0 victory over Torino and was the team’s ninth starting captain of the campaign.

“I thank Abbiati for giving me the captain’s armband, a lovely gesture.”

Pazzo was asked if this was his last game for Milan at San Siro.

“I’d like to know too. For five or six months the papers have been writing that I will leave, so maybe they know something more than me.

“I have a good rapport with everyone here, so I’d be happy to stay. This squad could’ve done more and there’s no point looking back now. It was a bad season and we’re happy it’s almost over.

“Milan will get back to being Milan, a great club that is competitive on all fronts.”
