Giampaolo Pazzini said he begins his loan move to Levante with “great enthusiasm” after leaving Hellas Verona on transfer deadline day.

The 33-year-old striker had been pushed to the sidelines at the Stadio Bentegodi this season, despite scoring four Serie A goals.

“With great enthusiasm, I am very happy to be here. It’s a wonderful and important experience, it was fundamental for me to feel the club had faith in me,” Pazzini told the official Levante website as he was greeted at the airport.
