“I felt like I was in the abyss at 3-1 down, it was so tough, but we are a tough team and we fought our way back up,” Pavoletti told DAZN with what remained of his voice.

“We’ve got a lot of problems, but we’re a real team, we’ve got heart and we want to secure safety.

“I am so happy for Albertone, who deserved to slap that goal in. The cross was Gaston Pereiro was like a work of art. We all deserve it, as we are a great side and fought so hard.

“Many people try to pass the buck, but not us, we stick together and we know there’s a lot more that we need to do. Perhaps we needed this comeback to prove to ourselves that we are strong and we can do this.”
