Benjamin Pavard has no qualms about considering Inter the favourites to win the Supercoppa Italiana against Lazio and Napoli. ‘We are the best team in Italy, our results are there for all to see.’

“I think that we must be concentrated because Lazio are a great team. By focusing on our own match, that is the only way we can earn our place in the final,” Pavard told Mediaset.
The winners will go through to face Napoli in the Final on Monday, as this is the first tine the Supercoppa Italiana has been played with a Final Four format.
Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri said in his press conference that the team had only a 30 per cent chance of getting the better of Inter this evening and Pavard fundamentally agrees.
“It is certainly not a risk to feel that we are favourites, as our results are there for all to see. We are the best team in Italy and we just have to focus on playing our style of football.
“I think we can prove our worth again this evening. We are an extremely united group, whoever steps onto the field can prove himself.”
There is a full squad to choose from, as only Juan Cuadrado is out of action following an operation on his Achilles tendon.
“I does not matter who plays, but the way we play as a group,” added Pavard.
Inter are top of the Serie A table and won the Supercoppa Italiana for two years running.
