Calciomercato.com reported late last night that Roma had agreed a deal with Betis to sign Pau.

That has now been confirmed by Sky Sport Italia, which adds his medical is scheduled for Monday.

Once that is completed, the 24-year-old [pictured, right] should put pen to paper on a contract until 2024.

The broadcaster expects the deal to be worth ‘almost €30m’, although around €7.5m of that is the Giallorossi waiving their entitlement to 50 percent of Antonio Sanabria’s sell-on fee.

Sanabria joined Genoa from the Spanish side in January, on loan with an option to buy.
