The Corriere dello Sport is today suggesting that Milan will look to sell Alexandre Pato at the end of the season.

The club were already prepared to hand him over to Paris Saint-Germain in January until the striker pulled out of the move.

Milan have been unable to count on the injury-prone young Brazilian and he has now picked up his 13th injury since 2010.

Paris SG are expected to return for the South American in the summer and the Rossoneri won’t block his exit.

There are apparently three players on Milan’s short-list as possible replacements for the international striker.

The Manchester City duo of Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez are possibilities even if the Italian’s agent yesterday insisted that he was going nowhere.

Tevez, meanwhile, was targeted in January but Pato’s decision to stay ended Milan’s hopes of signing him.

Arsenal and Holland striker Robin Van Persie is another player whom the Stadio Meazza outfit could consider making an offer for.
