This morning’s front pages see both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport declaring that Pato is an option for Milan in January.

The Diavolo have been pursuing Zlatan Ibrahimovic of LA Galaxy, but Pato could be an alternative.

The issue is that his release clause in China is worth €25m, a figure the Rossoneri have no intention of paying.

Pato’s salary is also around €9m per season, but he may be willing to cut that to return to Milan and to Europe.
