The Brazilian forward has been linked with a move out of Milan on and off for the past six months, after revealing in January of problems he had with Coach Massimiliano Allegri and then almost completing a switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
That move, however, was vetoed by President Silvio Berlusconi and the intention of the club is to keep the star. However, ahead of possibly representing Brazil at the London 2012 Olympics, Pato has admitted that a move to England could be on the agenda in the coming seasons.
“I love English football. I have friends who play for Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United,” the striker told The Sun this week.
“At the moment I have a real taste for playing in the UK, being in London with one month to go before the Olympics.
“My priority is to finish my contract in Milan.
“I have a lot to thank them for and my focus is to continue doing what I do, to bring joy to the fans in Milan and continue my contract until 2014. And then afterwards, who knows?”
The 22-year-old has more than once recently admitted to being ‘flattered’ by reported interest in him.
