Javier Pastore is happy at Palermo, but also concedes “my agent is in contact with Barcelona and other clubs.”

The Argentina international is currently preparing for the Copa America and has been slapped with a €50m price-tag by President Maurizio Zamparini.

“I don't know anything about my future,” he told Fox Sports in South America.

“My agent is in contact with Barcelona and other clubs, so he will certainly do what is best for me.”

“I don't know anything about my future,” he told Fox Sports in South America.

“My agent is in contact with Barcelona and other clubs, so he will certainly do what is best for me.”

Among the other options are Inter, Roma, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

Barça had not really been mentioned before, primarily because they are targeting Udinese's Alexis Sanchez.

If Manchester City win that bidding war, then Barcelona are holding Pastore as a potential second choice.

Pastore was asked if his wages at Palermo reflected the €50m valuation.

“We did not talk about money between the first and second season, which is fine with me because I am happy at Palermo and there was no need to discuss it at the time. We'll see what happens in future.

“I love the city, as it's relaxed, by the sea and always has beautiful weather in winter or summer.”
