Attacking midfielder Javier Pastore has revealed that the Roma players keep in shape at home during the lockdown but suggests that they will need “15 days to prepare” after returning to training.
Serie A has been suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak and the FIGC has confirmed that they are working on how to resume the campaign.
Pastore, who has been limited to a mere nine games for Roma in 2019-20, is still working his way back from injury and reveals that he is training at home with guidelines from the Giallorossi.

Pastore, who has been limited to a mere nine games for Roma in 2019-20, is still working his way back from injury and reveals that he is training at home with guidelines from the Giallorossi.
“The club has sent us all the needed material at home, we are following a personalised programme and continue to work,” Pastore told Il Tempo. “I think this break will last beyond April 3.
“We will need 15 days to prepare when we return. I train in the morning and in the afternoon, to divide the sessions and to pass time.”
Roma were scheduled to play Sevilla in the last 16 of the Europa League whilst the games were already suspended in Italy, but the game was called off.
As the Spanish government cancelled all flights to and from Italy, the reports in Italian media claimed that the Giallorossi were looking for different solutions to arrive at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
But the Argentine attacker has claimed that they all agreed on not travelling after learning about the seriousness of the current situation.
“We all agreed to not travel to Seville,” he said. “I hope that there aren’t as many cases in Argentina as we have had in Italy, we need to understand that it’s something serious. This is not a joke.”
