Pastore endured a false start to his Roma career last season, but he has established himself in recent weeks, in part due to the club’s injury crisis.
“I feel good and I’m happy with how things are going, although I’m sorry for how our last two games went,” he told Roma TV.
“We’re working well, and you’ll see very good things form us on the pitch once we return.

“As for myself, I think I’m at 80-90 percent. Playing six games in a row, every three days, showed me I’m fit.
“I didn’t expect to play so much, it had been so long since I last did so. The injuries to my teammates led me to do so, but the staff have managed me well in training.
“The arrival of Fonseca was very important. He has a rapport with the players and he’s letting me train better.”
Despite his haul of two assists this term, the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has yet to score…
“I’ve created so many chances and often had shots. It’s a shame I haven’t scored yet, but the important thing was to win a large part of our matches.
“I hope to score a goal soon. When you score one then the rest follow. I don’t live for goals, but I’d like to score.
“When you score, your desire and confidence grow, even if for me an assist is worth a goal, especially if it’s decisive for your team winning.”
Finally, the 30-year-old reiterated how he understood the jeers of Giallorossi fans after his lack of impact in 2018-19.
“They were right because those who have followed my career know I can do much better.”
