Javier Pastore has returned to Rome and has claimed he wants to be back onto the pitch ‘as soon as possible.’
The Argentinean underwent a hip surgery in Barcelona back in August and remained in Spain for his rehab.
"I’m feeling well. I’ve been following Roma for the past few weeks and I really wanted to come back,” Pastore told ForzaRoma.info.
“They are playing well, now I have to think about myself to come back as soon as possible. I’ve spoken with everyone in Trigoria these days, they’ve always been there for me.
“I finished my rehab in Spain, I’ll try to get back as fast as I can," he added.
“I’ve missed family these days, but it’s something that needed to be done.
“I couldn’t keep feeling this bad, so I decided to have this surgery.
“I did it in Spain and that’s why it was harder. The important thing is that everything went well.
“Now I am missing the last step. I need to recover physically and return as soon as possible".
