The 21-year-old playmaker put in another excellent performance at the weekend, this time against Genoa and he hopes to carry his form into tonight's clash with Milan at San Siro.

"I only expect to play a great game and do my best," Pastore explained. "Rossi always asks me to be concrete and to play for the team.

"I want to repay his trust, helping my teammates also in difficult situations.

"I am still not a leader. Fabrizio Miccoli certainly is one and he is now returning to fitness.

"We hope to do better than last year. We are strong players and want to qualify for the Champions League at all costs. We can do it. We all believe."

When asked about his future, Pastore said: "I have really never thought about money.

"If I stay it's because I think that it's the best decision for my future. The money helps a lot, but it doesn't make you happy.

"Today I am only dreaming about winning something with Palermo.

"Barcelona are one of the biggest and most prestigious clubs in the world and they have Lionel Messi who is surely the best player on the planet.

"Of course, I would like to go to such a strong club one day in the future, but the truth is that at the moment it's not the priority.

"I am thinking about the present and today I am very, very happy in Palermo and I want to stay."
