Lazio President Claudio Lotito confirms Marco Parolo is close to a new contract, reportedly running until 2022.
The Italian international’s current deal expires in 2019, with the midfielder earning around €1.1m per season.
According to Il Messaggero, Parolo is close to agreeing a new contract which will boost his wages to €2m per year, as well as extending his Biancoelesti stay until 2022, when he will be 37.
“I met him this afternoon to sort the contract,” President Lotito confirmed at a charity dinner last night.
