Marco Parolo took to his official Instagram account to bid farewell to Lazio after seven years with the Biancocelesti.
The 36-year-old leaves the Stadio Olimpico after the end of his contract.
“My gratitude goes to Biancocelesti world, to Lazio fans. People that made me fall in love with this jersey thanks to their passion. Motivating, celebrating, criticising, sometimes insulting, but always with the respect. You pushed me to give my all.
“Thanks to President Lotito and all those working at Formello. Thanks to the coach and the medical staff and my marvellous teammates.
“I want to continue to have fun, playing football and I hope to meet you again on the pitch. Grazie Lazio.”
