Nobody at Parma has been paid since July 2014 and players announced they will take legal action if the outstanding wages are not provided by Monday’s deadline.

At least one more point will be docked anyway, because this latest move is over late wages up to September.

Since then, Ghirardi has sold the club to Rezart Taci, who then sold his shares again to new President Giampietro Manenti.

Parma are bottom of the Serie A table with just nine points.
