Parma have reiterated their absolute faith in Coach Pasquale Marino despite fan protests urging his dismissal.

“It would be too easy for one person to pay the price,” said general manager Pietro Leonardi.

“We all have to emerge from this situation together and keep a tight ship. We will save Parma. We are convinced of this.

“In order to do that, we have to stay united and at this point we wipe out all the controversy to start afresh.”

It won't be easy, as the Ducali are sliding towards the relegation zone after a 1-0 home defeat to Lecce last night.

Fans staged a protest at the Stadio Tardini urging the club to sack Marino.
