Parma had another friendly win, beating local side SV Grun Weiss Micheldorf 4-0 with Gervinho and Hernani on target, but hit the woodwork four times.
The Ducali had a confident performance in Austria and Gervinho could easily have had a hat-trick, as he scored the opener and then hit the woodwork twice in the first half alone.
Hernani doubled Parma’s lead from a direct free kick, then after the break Luigi Alberto Scaglia and Mattia Sprocati’s right-foot curler rounded out the scoreline.
