Parma president Kyle Krause dispelled all doubts about coach Fabio Pecchia’s position by extending his contract in a surprising announcement to CBS.

The Gialloblu returned to Serie A this season, but ups and downs have marked their start, as they only won one of the first eight league games despite showing glimpses of brilliant football.

Parma president announces Pecchia’s contract extension live on CBS

While some Italian media wondered whether Pecchia’s job could be at risk, CBS published a video on their X official account showing Krause announcing his coach’s contract renewal until 2027.

“Fabio has been a fantastic asset to the club and an important part of us building what we wanted to do from a vision standpoint,” Parma president claimed in an exclusive announcement.

Krause also defined Pecchia as the ‘right man for the job and the right man for a future’, as he claimed to be pleased with what the manager has achieved in terms of ‘team’s cohesion standpoint’, ‘performance’ and ‘tactically’.
