Coach Roberto Donadoni says Parma's situation is 'still not normal' as speculation continues over possible new ownership.

The Ducali are on the verge of bankruptcy with President Giampietro Manenti unable to settle the club's debts and simultaneously unwilling to sell it.

Speaking to Gazzetta TV, the club’s Coach has reiterated that the situation had not improved.

“It may appear like we are back to normal because we played the last two games, but that's not the case,” Donadoni has said.

“The situation is paradoxical. Things can't be left to the last second while we wait for heaven knows what decisions.

“The problem is upstream. It's impossible to change something without changing the way of doing things.

“The reason I keep doing my job along with the players is that we don't want this to happen to anyone else, and I'm not talking about Serie A but about the clubs in Serie B and Lega Pro.

“They are out of the spotlight, but they have the greatest needs.”

The 51-year-old was also asked whether Torino-Parma would be played next Sunday as per schedule.

“We want to see what happens, and we'll make a decision accordingly.

“We'll try acting in respect of everyone, but we expect to be respected too.

“It's easy to say that footballers earn a lot, but in my team I have men who can't go on because they haven't been paid in eight months.”

In the meantime, Tuttosport reports of possible interest in Parma from Maltese investment group Doyen Sports Investment Ltd, but this is yet to be confirmed.
