Parma sporting director Pietro Leonardi has claimed that the club will sell five players this summer, but not out of necessity.
The Crociati may have missed out on a Europa League place and are up for sale, but the board member has insisted that the team do not need to up their coffers by offloading their best players.
“We do not need to sell, I will keep on repeating that,” he told a Press conference at the unveiling of their new kit.
“Parma are a buying club. We have 30 players on our books at the moment, but the intention is to get down to 25.
“So at the moment we’re analysing everything and will come to a decision very soon.
“I’ve been here six years, and every year we’ve had a very good core of players – that won’t change.”
