Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi has shot down reports of new talks for Omar El Kaddouri. “He turned us down before, so now he can pay the consequences.”

The Brescia creative midfielder had rejected the option of a Tardini switch earlier this month when there was interest from Juventus” data-scaytid=”28″>Juventus, but now the Bianconeri have pulled away.

“It’s very simple and there are no grey areas here,” Ghirardi told Il Giornale di Brescia newspaper.

“There was an agreement with Brescia, it was all sorted out, but the player did not appreciate us as a destination and preferred to hold out for more and more. Now it’s only right that he accepts the responsibility and can pay the consequences.

“As far as we are concerned, the financial resources we had at the time are no longer there, because we chose to invest in other players who fulfilled the needs El Kaddouri would’ve done.

“I don’t know if we will re-open negotiations with Brescia before August 31, but if we do then it will be like starting from scratch and certainly with different terms.”
