Fabio Paratici’s role as Tottenham sporting director is reportedly at risk after he was handed a 30-month ban by the Federal Court of Appeals.
FIGC Prosecutor Giuseppe Chine asked the court to reopen the capital gains case against Juventus and hand them a nine-point penalty, following new revelations from the Prisma investigation, headed by the Turin Public Prosecutor’s Office. On Friday night, the decision was made by the Federal Court to hand Juventus a 15-point penalty and bans to various current and former directors.
As highlighted by TMW, the Federal Court has also requested that the bans for the involved directors is extended to UEFA and FIFA, which would mean trouble for Tottenham sporting director Paratici, who was given a two-and-a-half year suspension.
Former Bianconeri president Andrea Agnelli was handed a two-year ban, the same as Maurizio Arrivabene. The Old Lady’s sporting director Federico Cherubini was given a 16-month suspension and Pavel Nedved an eight-month ban.
Juventus are now in the process of appealing the ruling, which will be explained in the coming days, to CONI’s Collegio di Garanzia.
