“We try to win every tournament, the Coppa Italia is one of them and we’ll give it our all this evening,” Paratici told RAI Sport.

“We play every game to win. There have been many matches in January, we won them all except for one in Milan against Inter, so a single slip-up can happen.”

Buffon starts in goal this evening and tomorrow he will mark his 43rd birthday. Is this the final season or will the Superman keep going?

“Gigi is extraordinary and he is in his home. We’ll face this matter in a relaxed manner at the appropriate moment, without problems.”

Paratici again insisted Juventus have no need to sign reinforcements in the January transfer window.

“It’s a transfer market based on opportunities. As all clubs do, we are vigilant to see if there are opportunities. If there aren’t, then we have a competitive squad and don’t need to do anything.”
