“It’s a very important game, Dybala is really important for us, regardless of when he plays. It’s important for everyone to have him available,” Paratidi said.

The director was asked his thoughts on the Super League, announced by Juventus and 11 more European clubs on Sunday and collapsed within a couple of days.

“The last 72 hours have been unique. We remain convinced it is a good project, a unique opportunity to help the football pyramid," Paratici claimed.

“It’s a change that needed to be metabolised. It was the same when we changed our crest. In the beginning it wasn't perceived well.

"It took time to understand it and it would have been the same for the Super League, it would have been for the good of football.

“We respect everyone’s opinion. Everyone has spoken in the last 72 hours, but you need to have knowledge about a matter if you want to talk about it.

“I wouldn’t discuss medicine with a doctor, but this is a more popular topic, and we really miss the fans," he added.

"Now we have social media that give more opportunities to talk, compared to a few years ago. But I want to say one thing: we never put into questions words like meritocracy and values.”
