“We earned our victories one game at a time, so remain very concentrated and there’s a good atmosphere, but we’re also taking nothing for granted,” the director told Sky Sport Italia.

This is the first time ever that the second leg of a Serie A game has been played before the first.

That’s because the October clash in Turin was postponed due to COVID cases and has not yet been rescheduled.

These clubs did face off last month for the Supercoppa, with Juve winning 2-0 after Lorenzo Insigne missed a penalty.

“As I said, we take it one game at a time, so whether it’s the first or second leg is irrelevant. The Supercoppa was a difficult match against a club that has been perhaps the most consistent after Juventus over the last few years.

“We congratulate them on the way they are run and hope to get the full points this evening.”
