Paratici: ‘Football more like NBA’

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici agrees more swap deals will come out of the COVID-19 outbreak, bringing football “closer to the NBA”.

Cashflow is proving a serious issue for clubs as the football season remains on pause, and Paratici – like Inter rival Beppe Marotta – expects coronavirus to take its toll on transfer fees.

“There will be many swap deals, a situation that will bring football closer to the NBA,” he told Tuttosport.
