If Fabio Paratici becomes Tottenham sporting director, he could look to Juventus for Adrien Rabiot or Leonardo Bonucci.

Most sources in Italy and England are confident Paratici will take the job over the next few days, having seen his contract come to a natural end in Turin after 11 years.

With that in mind, it’s entirely possible his first port of call for new Spurs signings will be the Old Lady.

La Gazzetta dello Sport outline a few options Paratici could target, above all defender Bonucci and midfielder Rabiot.

Of the two, Bonucci is the most difficult, having already made a brief move away from Juve to Milan and returned a year later.

However, the return of coach Max Allegri does raise that possibility, as the pair have clashed on occasion.

A more likely candidate is Rabiot, who Juve snapped up as a free agent from PSG, but the France international has struggled to make an impact in Serie A.

It also means that any sale for Rabiot would be a profit for the Bianconeri, not to mention remove his hefty salary from their costs.

Paulo Dybala famously was meant to join Tottenham last summer, but rejected both Spurs and Manchester United, so if he was to leave Juve, it’d probably be for a Spanish side.
