According to Tuttosport, Tottenham director Fabio Paratici will challenge his former club Juventus for the signing of a new striker that could replace Harry Kane in North London.

The English striker has already informed his club that he wants to leave in the summer and Paratici is looking for a possible replacement for the 27-year-old.

According to Tuttosport, Tottenham and Juventus have many common targets this summer, including Gabriel Jesus and Mauro Icardi.

The Argentinean striker is set to leave PSG and Paratici is a long-time admirer of the former Inter captain, who he brought to Sampdoria from Barcelona ten years ago.

Who is Fabio Paratici and what Tottenham can expect from him

Paratici is a close friend of new Juventus sporting director Federico Cherubini who replaced him at the Allianz Stadium.

They had been working together for many years in Turin, so they know each other really well. Paratici will reportedly bring to North London Juventus’ chief scout Lorenzo Giani, meaning many players linked with a move to Juventus in the past could be on Tottenham’s radars now.

It’s not a coincidence that Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic is now chased by both clubs and the same is true of Arek Milik and Andrea Belotti.

Tottenham may not face competition from Juventus for the Italy striker as Torino President Urbano Cairo has promised he won’t sell ‘Il Gallo’ to the Granata’s arch-rivals.

Vlahovic’s teammate Nikola Milenkovic is on both clubs’ agendas too, but Spurs are also interested in Merih Demiral who was signed by Paratici in 2019 and could leave Turin for €35-40m.
