Lucas Paqueta will reportedly fly straight to Italy after his final Flamengo match and spend a month acclimatising to new club Milan.

Flamengo confirmed today that they had signed the contracts for his €35m plus bonuses transfer, despite a late bid from Real Madrid.

The move will be finalised as soon as the transfer window opens on January 3.

The move will be finalised as soon as the transfer window opens on January 3.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia, Paqueta will arrive in Milan straight after his final game for Flamengo against Atletico Paranaense on December 2.

This will give him a month to acclimatise to Italy and get to grips with Coach Gennaro Gattuso’s training methods, not to mention his new teammates.
