Papu Gomez scored his first Sevilla goal against Getafe and said his teammates have immediately made him feel part of the group.
The Argentinean joined the La Liga side from Atalanta in a €7m deal in the January transfer window.
He netted his first goal with his new club in a 3-0 home win against Getafe on Saturday.
“I’m happy to have made my debut in this extraordinary stadium,” he said at the end of the game.

“When I received the ball, I immediately thought about shooting. The defender deflected the shot, but I think the ball would go in anyway.
“I want to thank my fantastic teammates who made me feel part of the group. Now we must be focused, trying to reach all our targets.
“I’ve joined this club because they have ambitious goals, I am sure the final part of the season will be exciting for us.”
