Paolo Berlusconi, the brother of Monza president Silvio, discussed the future of coach Raffaele Palladino, confirming the interest of Juventus.

The 39-year-old Italian took over as head coach back in September after the dismissal of Giovanni Stroppa. It was his first time in the job, having previously just been the Monza Primavera coach for a little over a year.

Palladino exceeded expectations with Monza, securing their safety in Serie A by averaging 1.66 points per match from his 29 league games in charge. His contract expires with the club at the end of this season.

Speaking to Radio Radio via Calciomercato.com, Berlusconi discussed Palladino’s future and the interest from Turin.

“He should stay at Monza, we’ll talk about it at the end of the season, even if he has Juventus looking for him. It will be nice to say no to Juve.”

The 39-year-old Palladino is one of many coaches linked with Juventus, who are considering replacing Massimiliano Allegri in the summer. The coach guided Monza to two wins over the Bianconeri this season, 1-0 at home and 2-0 away.

As a player, Palladino made 57 appearances for the Old Lady, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists.
