The striker is now a Napoli player after the club decided to take up their option to sign him outright following his loan spell from San Siro.
“Goran is a good guy,” Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis told Radio Marte. “Apart from being machines of war, players are also men.
“Pandev is at the peak of his maturity and he will be able to give a lot to the team.
“The Neapolitans should have gratitude for the player because he’s been very generous, he has behaved in a gentlemanly manner.
“He agreed to earn less money with us than he was netting at Inter. In doing so, he respected the parameters that the club has set up in line with the financial fair play rules.”
Pandev, 28, scored seven goals in 42 appearances for the Azzurri this season.
