“Milan are now focusing on youngsters,” the striker told Sky Sport Italia. “You saw that by the investment they made for Mario Balotelli in January.
“At the moment I have been given an opportunity here at Verona where I can grow, but you never know what will happen in football…”
The Under-21 international is a product of the Diavolo’s youth system who scored two goals in seven League appearances for the Rossoneri in 2007-08.
He’s since spent time at other clubs such as Parma and Genoa before his 2011 switch to the Stadio Bentegodi.
