James Pallotta says there is “support” for Roma’s new stadium but “I ask myself if the fans want it as much as I do…”

The Giallorossi are attempting to build a new stadium of their own, but the project has become tied-down in red tape as they seek approval from the Lazio region.

“We’ve been working with [David] Ginsberg for six months,” Pallotta explained on Roma Radio.

The Giallorossi are attempting to build a new stadium of their own, but the project has become tied-down in red tape as they seek approval from the Lazio region.

“We’ve been working with [David] Ginsberg for six months,” Pallotta explained on Roma Radio.

“He’s heading the project and has done a great job. There are still some outstanding issues, but they’re solvable. We’re talking about a dossier of 8,000 pages.

“Now we’ll present the project to the region. I also had talks in Rome, it’s a very important for the city, but also for Italy, Europe and worldwide.

“It’s being supported very well by the institutions.

“I ask myself if the fans also want this stadium, which Roma deserve, as much as I do.”
