“We have excellent players,” Pallotta told Il Tempo. “Now Rudi must know who should play, and in what combinations.

“We have excellent players,” Pallotta told Il Tempo. “Now Rudi must know who should play, and in what combinations.

“He can fix things, but he has to find the right chemistry between the strengths and the weaknesses of his individual players.

“We signed several strong players and some young ones who will do great things in the coming years.”

While the patron's words sounded faintly cautionary, Sabatini was reportedly more indulgent.

According to Tuttosport, the sporting director met the Coach yesterday and confirmed the club's trust in him, in spite of the rocky start.
