Roma beat Lazio 2-0 in Sunday’s Derby della Capitale, but the encounter was overshadowed by the empty Curva Nord and Sud sections of both teams’ Ultras, in protest at new security measures.
Despite that, Pallotta was buoyed by the performance and called on the team to ‘go forward on this path.’
"It was definitely a superb weekend, the team showed they are in great form and the game passed very calmly,” he said to Roma Radio.
“I think everything is going in the right direction, there is just a slight concern about the injury situation.
“Our Coach Rudi Garcia is doing a fantastic job. The derby was certainly the best game of the season and we have to go forward on this path.
“Also against Inter we dominated the game, but we were unlucky. The Coach and his staff are doing their best for the team.
“Salah? I think he'll be back soon.
"Seeing the fans outside the hotel was beautiful. My comment that was reported after the derby did not correspond to what I said, the meaning was completely different.
“I sincerely hope that a solution is close with the Curva Sud, we miss the fans. Playing at the Olimpico without them is not the same thing.
“We are working hard and next week we will have another meeting with the Prefect. For my part I will always have problems with those who belittle our fans.
"Yes, I saw the joy of De Rossi. I, like him, am very nervous when Roma play and I can’t watch the match being calmly seated.”
