It is increasingly speculated that Antonio Cassano's decision to leave the Ducali will be followed by defender Paletta, who is seemingly headed towards Sampdoria.

According to La Gazzetta di Parma, the defender already has a deal with the club from Genoa, but that unlike Cassano he will not be rescinding his contract with Parma, rather moving on a transfer that is tentatively valued at €4m.

However, that asking price may drop if the player is willing to give up on six months of owed wages.

The Argentine-born Italian international risks being only the first in a whole string of players that may leave Parma, though.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Parma are about to lose Paolo De Ceglie, who will go back to Juventus, while Afriyie Acquah and Daniele Galloppa are eyed by Torino and Sassuolo.

Equally uncertain is the future of Andrea Costa, Andrea Rispoli and Francesco Lodi, while the only name that may be incoming is that of Sassuolo striker Sergio Floccari.

The Gazzetta di Parma suggest that if these players were to request transfers, then Parma would oblige.
