Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini plans to raid Cesena this summer for Marco Parolo and Emanuele Giaccherini.

The Rosanero have put all negotiations on hold until the end of the season after their campaign descended into crisis at the turn of the New Year.

The Rosanero have put all negotiations on hold until the end of the season after their campaign descended into crisis at the turn of the New Year.

Before then, Palermo had wrapped up deals to sign Argentine striker Pablo Gonzalez from Serie B side Novara and Serbian defender Milan Milanovic from Lokomotiv Moscow.

In the meantime, Zamparini is still deciding who to appoint as Palermo Coach next season and whether the players on his wish list suit suit their style.

However, Parolo and Giaccherini are said to be favourites of his and bids are expected once the transfer window opens again.

Parolo was recently called up to Cesare Prandelli's Italy squad while Giaccherini has attracted attention from half of Serie A.
