Palermo have announced that Davide Ballardini’s contract has been torn-up by mutual consent.
It was confirmed earlier today that Roberto De Zerbi had replaced him as Coach of the Rosanero, with President Maurizio Zamparini stating that he’d seek damages from Ballardini.

Ordinarily in Serie A, a club will continue the Coach’s contract, giving them the option of recalling a tactician at a later date.
However, in a short statement, Palermo announced that Ballardini’s deal has been terminated “by mutual consent”.
It's worth noting though, that Ballardini’s contract was also rescinded when he was sacked last year, and the Coach still had another spell on the Barbera bench.
