Palermo rule out Rossi exit

Palermo claim that boss Delio Rossi won't be joining Fiorentina, this weekend's opponents, at the end of the season.

The tactician has been linked with a number of clubs after a series of public spats with President Maurizio Zamparini.

Fiorentina, given their struggles under Sinisa Mihajlovic, have been paired but a move seemingly isn't on the horizon.

"I've read the Fiorentina reports, but I don't think there will be a coaching change," Palermo Vice-President Guglielmo Miccichè noted.

"The fans shouldn't worry about a possible exit because Delio Rossi will remain at Palermo."

Palermo and Fiorentina meet in the Sunday lunchtime kick-off, a time slot that historically doesn't suit the Sicilians.

"The 12.30 games bring us bad luck," Miccichè continued. "We've played three games against Brescia, Lazio and Cagliari and lost all three.

"Let's hope that run ends this weekend."
