FIGC prosecutors have called for Palermo to be relegated to Serie C.
Palermo still have a chance of gaining automatic promotion to Serie A ahead of this weekend’s final matchday in Serie B.
However, FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Pecoraro wants them to be demoted to the third tier for regulatory offences between 2014 and 2017, during Maurizio Zamparini’s tenure as President.

However, FIGC prosecutor Giuseppe Pecoraro wants them to be demoted to the third tier for regulatory offences between 2014 and 2017, during Maurizio Zamparini’s tenure as President.
Pecoraro is also demanding a five-year ban from all football activities for Zamparini, who recently sold the Rosanero to investment fund Arkus Network.
