Palermo say they won't make a bid for Antonio Cassano and they haven't received an offer for Javier Pastore.

The Milan man has been linked with a move this summer over concerns that he won't be guaranteed a starting shirt at San Siro next term.

Palermo were suggested as a possible destination for the Italian international, but Rosanero chief Maurizio Zamparini has shot down that theory.

"Cassano will never come to Palermo," he told Radio Goal. "His salary is too big for us, we just can't afford it."

Milan also stated today that, as far as they know, Cassano is happy to continue with the Rossoneri following his January arrival from Sampdoria.

Meanwhile, Zamparini rejected speculation that both Milan clubs were lining up offers for Argentine ace Pastore.

"He earns €600,000 and has a contract with us for five years," the Stadio Barbera chief added. "I hope he one day earns double, even triple, that amount.

"Nevertheless, nobody has requested him from us. Not Milan and not Inter…"
