Palermo have revealed that Serie A rivals Napoli made an enquiry about Argentine talent Javier Pastore.

"A month ago Napoli President Aurelio De Laurenttiis sent me a small note," Rosanero chief Maurizio Zamparini told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"It said that he wanted to speak to me about Pastore, but I said no. Had it said'€50m for Pastore?' then I would have said yes…

Palermo have revealed that Serie A rivals Napoli made an enquiry about Argentine talent Javier Pastore.

"With €50m then we can negotiate, but I don't think that De Laurentiis is crazy. Anyway, I can say that there will be no deals between Napoli and Palermo this summer."

That last statement seemed to rule out suggestions that Antonio Nocerino could find himself at the San Paolo next term.

"I've had no note from Napoli about Nocerino," he added. "I think that he will stay here. I'm not aware that he wants to wear the Napoli blue.

Argentine sensation Pastore, who Zamparini has valued at €60m this term, has been linked with a variety of Europe's top clubs.
