Palermo have officially confirmed the loan of Abdelhamid El Kaoutari to Corsican club Bastia.
The 26-year-old defender will be pursuing his career in Ligue 1, although he may still return to Sicily after a year.
“US Palermo communicate that they have handed over Abdelhamid El Kaoutari to Bastia,” reads a statement on Palermo's website. “The player is moving to the French club on a loan deal with a buy-back option.”
