Palermo were bought out by the same owners as Manchester City, so they have already started working in synergy with Claudio Gomes moving to Sicily.
The 22-year-old French midfielder has been compared to N’Golo Kante and even earned the nickname Kante as a result.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Gomes will arrive from Manchester City, having spent last season on loan at Barnsley in the Championship.
He comes from a football family, as his father Amarildo played for Rennes and younger brother Ylan is registered with Le Havre.
