Gasperini was hired after the Week 3 draw against Cagliari” data-scaytid=”9″>Cagliari which saw Giuseppe Sannino axed. The former Genoa boss collected three wins, seven draws and 10 defeats.
Palermo added in their short note that the new Coach would be announced before tomorrow morning.
That man is now expected to be Alberto Malesani, the Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>ex-Fiorentina tactician who was sacked twice by Genoa last term.
Malesani will sign a deal until June that will include the option of a renewal should he keep the bottom of the table club in Serie A.
