Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini confirmed he is “almost there” for Roma midfielder Federico Viviani.
The 23-year-old spent this season on loan in Serie B with Latina.
“We are almost there,” Zamparini told Il Giornale di Sicilia.
“The negotiations are at an advanced stage and close to the finish line.”
The Rosanero are also seeking another forward to replace Paulo Dybala, who moved to Juventus.

“I cannot name names on who will arrive, but I can assure you we will find a good level striker, although other clubs are also targeting him.
“Andrea Belotti? He is staying.”
